Trust & safety
Sino Tutor is used by learners, parents and tutors who are trusting each other and us with their time, their money and sometimes their children's education. This guide explains how we vet tutors, how to report a problem, and the standards we expect everyone to uphold.
How we vet tutors
No tutor appears in the directory automatically. Every application is reviewed by our team before it is approved, including the qualifications and supporting documents each tutor uploads. This vetting step is the backbone of trust on the platform.
Vetting does not stop at approval. Tutors who breach our standards can be suspended, and the rating and review system gives the whole community an ongoing, honest picture of how each tutor actually performs over time.
Reporting and community standards
If something does not feel right, whether it is a profile, a message or the conduct of a session, please report it and our team will look into it.
We hold every member, students and tutors alike, to a clear set of community standards built on respect, honesty and safety. Members who fall short of these standards may have their access limited or removed.
