Becoming a tutor
If you have knowledge to share, Sino Tutor gives you a place to teach, set your own rates and reach students across South Africa. This guide explains how to apply, what the review process looks like, and what happens once you are approved.
Building your application
To get started, sign up and choose the tutor role. You will then be guided through building your application, which is really the foundation of your future public profile. You will tell us which subjects and grades you can teach, set your hourly rate in rand, and write a short biography.
As part of the application you will also upload your qualifications and supporting documents, which we use to verify that you are who you say you are. Finally, you set your weekly availability, which becomes the booking calendar students use to request sessions.
Review and approval
Every application is reviewed by our team before it goes live. Your application moves through a clear set of statuses: it starts as pending while we review it, and then becomes approved, rejected, or in some cases suspended.
Once you are approved, your public profile goes live with your booking calendar open and your reviews section ready for the feedback your students will leave.
